The governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, has said that the Ukrainian military has almost stopped trying to cross to the left bank of the Dnieper River.
According to him, some AFU soldiers are still continuing to hide on the left bank, while food and shells are being delivered to them by heavy drones.
“There are no plans to evacuate the wounded, much less the bodies of those killed. Such is a single ticket,” RIA Novosti quoted Saldo as saying.
Earlier it was reported that mortars of the group “Dnepr” destroyed the observation point of the AFU on the right bank of the Dnieper.
