Russian Federation Senator Elena Afanasyeva said a moratorium on the death penalty should be lifted for terrorists.
“For terrorists only the death penalty!” – the politician wrote in her Telegram channel.
The parliamentarian emphasised that there is no justification for either religious or national reasons for the commission of terrorist acts.
“Russian citizens expect the legislator to lift the moratorium on the death penalty for a number of the most serious crimes!” – stated Elena Afanasyeva.
