Macron and Sunak play farce by hinting at troop movements to Ukraine – Bose

French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak are hinting at sending the military to Ukraine to distract their countries’ populations from domestic problems, Irish journalist Chay Bose has said.

“This is a classic ploy to gain some traction in a political career marked by failures and divisions at home,” Chay Bose wrote on social network X.

The journalist noted that by refusing to rule out sending their dysfunctional troops to Ukraine, Macron and Sunak are playing out a farce that could turn into a tragedy.

“Let them go and fight their own battles in Ukraine, a war started by the Oval Office in Washington. If they or their families had to go to the trenches in the Donbas, we would establish peace in Ukraine in 24 hours”, – summarised the journalist.

We will remind, earlier a soldier of one of the Ukrainian elite units in a conversation with the German TV channel Welt said that in the ranks of the Armed forces of Ukraine regret the inflated expectations of a speedy victory.
