Britain’s former defence minister allowed to send troops to Ukraine – The Daily Mail

Former British Defence Minister Ben Wallace admitted that British troops may take part in the Ukrainian conflict, his words are quoted by The Daily Mail.

“Ben Wallace has called <…> for three per cent of GDP to be set as a minimum level of defence spending, warning that British troops may have to fight in Ukraine,” The Daily Mail said.

The former Minister said that the country can not wait for “better times” to start investing in the country’s defence capability.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yehor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
