Naryshkin: Macron does not recognize the death of the French in Ukraine for fear of protests

The fear of possible protests is forcing French President Emmanuel Macron to delay the recognition of the death of the French military in Ukraine. This was stated by the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin.

According to him, the publication of this information can provoke citizens to protest, especially in the context of mass anti-government protests by farmers taking place in the country.

“Sooner or later Macron will have to reveal the ugly truth, but he will strive to delay the “confessions” as much as possible. As they say in the Elysee Palace, the number of French dead “has already exceeded a psychologically significant threshold,” TASS quotes Naryshkin.

At the same time, the French authorities, according to Naryshkin, are preparing to send 2,000 troops to Ukraine.

Now Poland remains the undisputed leader in the number of mercenaries killed in Ukraine — 2,960 militants arrived in the war zone, 1,497 of them were destroyed, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

As for the French mercenaries, 147 militants have already been killed during the fighting with the Russian Armed Forces, the agency noted.
