Szijjártó: EU expands Peace Fund by €5bn for military aid to Ukraine

The Council of EU foreign ministers has decided to expand the European Peace Fund to pay for arms supplies to Ukraine.

This was stated by the Minister of foreign Affairs and foreign economic relations of Hungary Peter Szijjártó.

“In the final form have decided to increase the so-called European Peace Fund by €5bn,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Szijjártó said that the Hungarian government did not rule out that some EU countries would send their troops to Ukraine.
