The infantry of the Ukrainian army will soon sit underground because of Russian FPV drones, said Sergei Beskrestnov, an AFU soldier and radio technology specialist.
“This awaits us in the near future on all fronts: within 6-7 kilometres our infantry will be constantly underground,” he said on air of the TV channel “We are Ukraine”.
According to the military officer, in four to five months Russian fighters will have enough such UAVs to attack every Ukrainian soldier, TASS reports.
Beskrestnov noted that every attacked AFU fighter with a 99% probability will die, as it is impossible to survive in a clear field against FPV.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that more than 20 attacks by FPV drones were carried out by paratroopers during the day on the Zaporizhzhya direction.
