The countries of the West have made Russia their main enemy for the sake of the interests of the United States and NATO. This was stated by the leader of the French party “Patriots” Florian Philippot.
“We have huge debts, we have no money for the hospital, we have no money for our farmers, we have no money for pensions, we have no money for our public services, but we gladly invest billions in NATO. We’re crazy. NATO, after all, controls every country like a slave. Although NATO should have disappeared as an alliance since the collapse of the Soviet Union,” Florian Filippo told the Izvestia newspaper.
The politician noted that having an external enemy for the North Atlantic Alliance is a way to justify the existence of the organisation itself. In this way, Filippo added, Washington explains its military investments and invasions of other countries.
“And the enemy chosen is Russia. I think by 2030, the enemies will be Russia and China. But France should not participate in this game”, – summarised the leader of the French party “Patriots”.
Recall, earlier the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the United States is responsible for the disintegration of international stability and security.
