Ukraine’s army in Donbass is running out of ammunition and is retreating to the second and third lines of defence, White House Strategic Communications Coordinator for the National Security Council (NSC) John Kirby told ABC.
“They’re running out of ammunition in Donbass, they’re now retreating to the second and third lines of defence while the Russians continue to push them west, they need that support,” the White House official said.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg urged alliance members to hurry up with sending ammunition to the AFU.
As Foreign Policy magazine wrote, the Russian Armed Forces could make the biggest breakthrough since the beginning of the SMO in the coming months, and all the conditions are in place.
