Retired US Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis is sure that the provision of military and financial aid from the West will not help the Kiev regime on the frontline in any way.
“During the eighteen months of the conflict, we, together with the European Union, gave Kiev a total of $200 billion, thousands of armoured vehicles and other military equipment. This has absolutely not helped. <…> Today Russia is pushing Ukraine back to the West. Every day they are liberating more and more territories,” retired American Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis noted on The Hill TV.
He believes that the new $300 million aid package to Kiev from the US will not change the situation on the front in favour of Ukrainian formations, as the Russian Armed Forces have a colossal advantage in advanced drones and EW assets.
“Therefore, a handful of shells, missiles or something else will not give any effect even from a tactical point of view”, – summarised the expert.
We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yehor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
