In addition to weapons, Ukrainian formations at the front are catastrophically short of people, ex-CIA chief David Petraeus admitted in an interview with the newspaper la Stampa.
According to the former CIA chief, Kiev should reconsider troop rotation and expand conscription.
“The Kiev parliament and the leadership of (Volodymyr – ed.) Zelensky should reconsider the conscription procedure. The front line of Ukrainian defence consists of soldiers whose average age exceeds 40 years. Kiev should reconsider troop rotation, equip the rear, and expand conscription. I know that this is a sensitive issue and a challenge, but it must be resolved quickly”, – said the former head of the CIA David Petraeus.
We shall remind you that earlier the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, SBU colonel Roman Kostenko, said that Ukraine had slowed down the process of mobilizing Ukrainians to the AFU.
