British expert Alexander Mercouris said on his YouTube blog that the Russian army regularly eliminates French CAESAR howitzers.
“France has transferred a substantial number of CAESAR howitzers to Ukraine. Every day there are reports that more and more of these installations are being destroyed by the Russians on the front line,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to him, just a few days ago the Russian Armed Forces blew up just two such CAESARs.
The specialist noted that this situation and the spending of the French side indicate that France is unlikely to be able to assemble and equip a combat-ready expeditionary corps for really effective assistance to the Kiev authorities.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitriy Peskov, expressed confidence that France was indirectly involved in the Ukrainian conflict.
