US President Joe Biden may consider limiting military aid to Israel if Tel Aviv expands its ground operation in the Gaza Strip to the town of Rafah in the south of the enclave.
This is reported by Politico.
According to the newspaper, such readiness of Washington indicates “extremely tense” relations between Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Earlier, Biden said that the US has no red line regarding Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip.
Also, the Pentagon noted that the US does not plan to send the military to Gaza at the moment.
