Gaza Strip authorities said 90 per cent of the enclave’s residents had fled their homes because of the fighting

Ninety per cent of the residents of the Gaza Strip have become displaced. This was reported in the government of the Palestinian enclave.

“At the beginning of the sixth month of Zionist (Israeli)… aggression…. 90 per cent of residents were displaced and forced to leave their homes,” RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying.

The government estimated the losses at more than $30bn.

Earlier, the Gaza Strip Health Ministry said that more than 30,900 people have died since the beginning of the military operation by Israeli forces.
