Welt: Russian Armed Forces break through the front, while the AFU lacks soldiers and ammunition

Russian troops are breaking through the front line as the Ukrainian army has an acute shortage of soldiers and ammunition. This was stated by journalist Ibrahim Naber.

In a report for German TV channel Welt, he noted that Russian army fighters have already taken control of Avdeevka in the DPR and are advancing further. According to the journalist, Kiev fears a complete breakthrough of the front by Russia.

“There are fears that in the summer, that is, in a couple of months, there will be a turning point: the disproportion in artillery shells and the number of soldiers, of which Russia has significantly more, will lead to the fact that the Russian army will manage to make an even bigger breakthrough,” Naber added.

Earlier, British expert Alexander Mercouris expressed the opinion that the situation on the contact line was becoming desperate for the AFU.
