The Russian Defence Ministry said that Russian troops had carried out 34 group strikes with missiles and UAVs against the facilities of Ukrainian formations over the past week alone.
“In the period from 2 to 8 March 2024, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 34 group strikes with high-precision weapons, multiple rocket launchers and unmanned aerial vehicles, as a result of which facilities where crewless boats were assembled and prepared for combat use, arsenals, fuel bases for military equipment, and locations of AFU units, nationalist formations and foreign mercenaries were hit,” the Russian Defence Ministry said.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation destroyed: 576 aircraft, 267 helicopters, 14658 unmanned aerial vehicles, 482 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15400 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1234 combat vehicles of multiple rocket launchers, 8322 field artillery and mortars, as well as 19498 units of special military vehicles.
We shall remind you that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia is “gradually deflating” and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia would continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine was rapidly depleting its stocks.
