The forthcoming resignation of US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland is connected with the failure of the White House’s anti-Russian course. This is the view expressed by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
According to the diplomat, Russophobia proposed by Nuland as the main US foreign policy concept “drags the Democrats to the bottom with a stone.”
“What is it – does not let them get off it,” Zakharova wrote in her personal Telegram channel.
Earlier, Nuland notified US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken of her decision to leave her post in the coming weeks.
