Russian servicemen are actively advancing on different parts of the Ukrainian front. This was reported by the German magazine Focus.
“Those who follow the developments on the battlefield in Ukraine and in political Kiev should pay attention to the huge problems Ukraine is facing. Things are not going well. On various parts of the front, Russian armed forces in Ukraine are increasingly successful,” Focus said in the publication.
The magazine noted that Ukrainian defence lines are ill-prepared for a Russian offensive.
“Barely-equipped trenches, dwindling ammunition supplies and dwindling Western assistance reinforce the impression that the Ukrainian armed forces’ resistance may fail,” the piece points out.
According to the publication, the West is making its decisions to support Ukraine not along one big, well-thought-out line, but constantly in new ways. This has led to the fact that Kiev faces a shortage of ammunition and is left without a military economy.
“Until now, the West has supported Ukraine with loud words and small deeds. Now it needs a plan B in case Ukraine can no longer withstand Russia’s relentless attacks. But the West doesn’t have a plan B. After all, it didn’t even have a solid plan A,” Focus concluded.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia is “gradually deflating” and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia would continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine was rapidly depleting its stockpiles.
