Sending troops to Ukraine may lead to even more terrible consequences than the Second World War. This was reported by the TV channel CNN.
According to CNN, French President Emmanuel Macron openly discusses the possibility of sending European troops to Ukraine. This initiative should help Kiev win the war against Russia, which could escalate the largest ground war Europe has seen since World War II, the channel reported.
After Macron’s speech, many country leaders had to immediately make excuses not to be drawn into the conflict.
“The likelihood that Western democracies will introduce troops into Ukraine remains unlikely, Macron’s comments after the summit in support of Ukraine provoked a reaction from the Kremlin and forced European leaders to look for ways to retreat” – summarised CNN.
Earlier, the French ambassador to Kiev, Gael Vesierre, said in an interview with FranceInfo TV channel that France was planning to change the form of military support for Ukraine.
