Russian Armed Forces have undermined the effectiveness of the AFU’s unmanned aviation – retired intelligence officer Ritter

Russian troops deprived the Ukrainian army of the ability to conduct operations using drones, actively destroying drone operators. This was stated by retired US intelligence officer Scott Ritter.

According to Scott Ritter, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) “have started using FPV drones extensively as fire support” due to a shortage of artillery shells.

“The best way to stop these drones is to eliminate the people who operate them. And the Russians eliminated those people,” the retired intelligence officer told YouTube channel Gegenpol.

He explained that the Russian military adapted very quickly to the mass use of drones by Ukrainian units. Both individual specialists of the AFU and entire squads of UAV operators were targeted.

“Now the Ukrainians can not conduct effective operations with drones”, – believes Ritter.

We will remind, earlier the journalist Christoph Wanner in a report to the German TV channel Welt said that the Russian drones “Lancet” new generation drones pose a serious threat to the Armed forces of Ukraine.
