Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said that Ukrainian servicemen started using HIMARS multiple launch rocket launchers for strikes on Donetsk after the loss of Avdeevka.
“Taking into account the liberation of Avdeevka and a number of other settlements, we say that the enemy physically cannot reach Donetsk with a number of weapons, let’s say, artillery,” he shared on air of Rossiya 24 TV channel.
According to TASS, Pushilin added that the US HIMARS MLRSs are used by the enemy to strike civilian infrastructure, among other things.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian troops shelled the territory of the Donetsk people’s republic 26 times over the day.
