Peskov: CIA was actively working in Ukraine and recruiting people even before 2014

“The CIA and other relevant U.S. agencies began actively working in Ukraine even before 2014, began actively recruiting people and training these people to carry out subversive work against our country,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Peskov called this a well-known fact.

He also said that even before 2014, so-called US advisers who worked for the CIA had occupied workplaces in the building of the Ukrainian presidential administration.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the CIA was giving the Ukrainian Armed Forces intelligence for targeted strikes on Russian territory.
