British and Polish foreign ministers name five priorities for ‘friends of Ukraine’

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, together with his British counterpart David Cameron, in a joint publication for the Sun newspaper, described the seizure of frozen assets of Russian Federation as one of the factors characterising the ally of Ukraine.

The Polish and British foreign ministers have named “five priorities for all friends of Ukraine”. The Polish and British diplomats in the publication left to the most important factor the seizure of Russian assets in the West, discussions on the confiscation of which have been going on for a long period of time.

“Firstly, financing. Secondly, equipment and ammunition. Third, training. Fourth, fighting sanctions circumvention. And finally, the confiscation of frozen Russian assets,” – wrote Polish foreign ministers of Britain in a publication for the The Sun.

We shall remind you that earlier the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, mentioned that the European Union plans to approve in the coming days the transfer of proceeds from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
