The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has urged its partners to send Kiev $1.5bn for the production of drones. This was announced by the deputy head of the ministry, Kateryna Chernogorenko.
“We urge partners to invest in effective research and development of drones,” the Defence Ministry quoted her as saying in its Telegram channel.
Chernogorenko added that it is in Ukraine where new technologies in the use of drones will be fastest tested.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the alliance planned to supply Kiev with 1m drones.
