Russian President Vladimir Putin has noted the courage and bravery shown by the military personnel of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) during a special military operation.
The head of state said this at a ceremony of presenting state awards to military units of the All-Union Aerospace Forces.
“The personnel, soldiers and officers have shown courage and bravery during the special military operation,” the Russian leader stressed.
Putin added that the military units of the Russian Air Force carried out thousands of combat sorties, demonstrating the highest skill.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin presented state awards to military units of the Russian Air Force at the Chkalovsky airfield.
