The European Union has approved the 13th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
This is stated in a message posted on social network X on the page of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
“EU ambassadors have just reached agreement in principle on the 13th package of sanctions …. The package will now go through a written procedure for approval by the EU Council and will be formally approved by 24 February,” the statement reads.
Earlier it became known that the United States from March 1 bans the import of unsorted diamonds and diamond jewellery from Russia.
