United States President Joe Biden confused Ukraine and the North Atlantic Alliance when talking about passing a bill to fund Kiev.
This is reported by Fox News TV channel.
During his speech, the American leader noted that the idea of ending aid to Ukraine is contrary to the interests of the United States.
“That’s why it’s time to make sure that Congress … passed a law on NATO funding,” Biden said.
Earlier, special prosecutor Robert Hur completed an investigation into Biden’s improper storage of classified documents.
In the report, Hoehr urged not to bring a criminal case against the American leader, because in a trial before a jury Biden could appear as a “handsome elderly man with memory problems.”
Politico newspaper said afterwards that Democrats had warned Biden’s aides that he could not back down in response to the report and should appear in public more often to show a liveliness of mind.
German magazine Der Spiegel assessed that Joe Biden has begun to appear “weaker and more vulnerable” than ever before during his time in office. After the publication of a report on the investigation into the US president’s careless handling of classified government documents, Biden tried to refute perceptions that he was “old and distracted”, but instead he confirmed these fears, the article said.
