Orban said the EU’s position on Ukraine was a failure

The EU countries’ strategy on Ukraine has failed not only on the frontline, where “the situation is catastrophic”, but also in politics. This opinion was expressed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

During a speech on plans for 2024, broadcast by the M1 TV channel, he emphasised that Brussels had already got involved in the conflict between “two brotherly Slavic nations”, RIA Novosti reported.

Orban added that Hungary would not let itself be dragged into the conflict and would not transfer weapons to Ukrainian troops.

Earlier, he said that changes were needed in Brussels as the EU policy was far from the interests of Europeans.
