The Russian Defence Ministry said that the AFU lost up to 130 military personnel and one tank in the Kupyansk direction over the day.
“The losses of the AFU totalled up to 130 servicemen,” the report said.
A tank, three armoured fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, a D-30 howitzer, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit and a Grad multiple rocket launcher were also destroyed.
Earlier, the head of the We Are Together with Russia movement, Volodymyr Rogov, said that a group of Ukrainian servicemen had surrendered near Rabotyn in Zaporizhzhya Region.
