White House: the refusal of Congress to approve aid to Ukraine will show the unreliability of the United States

The refusal of the House of Representatives of the American Congress to approve a bill on providing assistance to Israel and Ukraine will show the unreliability of the United States as an ally, said John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council.

According to Kirby, the American Congress needs to approve this bill.

“If we don’t do this, it will send a signal not only to allies and partners, but also to potential adversaries that the United States cannot be counted on,” TASS quoted him as saying.

He added that Washington is not interested in looking like an unreliable partner in the international arena.

On February 13, American senators voted in favor of a bill on the allocation of aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
