More than 1.2 thousand Ukrainian lorries stuck on Polish border

More than 1.2 thousand Ukrainian trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine at five checkpoints on the border with Poland – the checkpoints are blocked by Polish farmers, a representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said on air of the Rada TV channel.

“As for the queues, actually, as of this morning there are about 1,250 lorry vehicles in queues in all these five directions,” TASS quoted him as saying.

We are talking about the checkpoints “Zosin – Ustilug”, “Medyka – Shegini”, “Rawa-Russkaya – Hrebene”, “Ugrinov – Dolgobychiv” and “Jagodin – Dorogusk”.

On 12 February, Polish farmers restricted the movement of trucks at three checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.

Earlier, it was reported that Polish farmers planned to limit the movement of trucks at five checkpoints on the border with Ukraine as part of the action, which will last until 10 March.
