The EU needs anti-Russian hysteria to justify the importance of building an army, said Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party.
“Europhanatic morons have just proposed to the European Parliament to ‘create a European army’,” he wrote on social network X.
Filippo noted that European politicians continue to cover themselves with the supposed “Russian threat”.
Earlier, a member of the European Parliament from Greece Emmanuel Frangos addressed the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell about the development of relations between the European Union and Russia. According to the MP, the existing mutual distrust should be overcome.
