Zhasulan Dusembin, an AFU soldier, said that the Ukrainian army lost about a hundred fighters in a day during the fighting in the Serebryanskoye forestry area.
According to the military man, 11 out of 30 men in his company survived, but the officers were not worried about the losses.
“What difference does it make? New mobiks will come.” I heard this phrase more than once…. To an acquaintance of mine in another mechanised brigade, the commander said: ‘I’ll send you to the front line, you’ll die, new ones will come, and everything will be forgotten,'” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Another fighter Dmytro Gorban with the call sign French noted that Ukrainian soldiers are not only being thrown into “meat assaults”, but are also being forced to hold a “meat defence” with the Russian Armed Forces clearly outnumbered.
“Until the losses reach 70 per cent, no one will allow them to retreat,” he explained.
Earlier, retired lieutenant colonel of the Lugansk People’s Republic Andriy Marochko said that Kiev is using the tactics of “meat assaults” in the Kupyansk direction.
