Farmers in Poland plan to block the movement of trucks through two more checkpoints on the border with Ukraine from 12 February. This intention of Polish farmers was reported by the press secretary of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko.
On 9 February, Polish farmers blocked three checkpoints on the border with Ukraine: “Dorohusk – Jahodyn”, “Hrebene – Rawa-Russkaya”, as well as “Medyka – Shehyni”. The latter was unblocked the day before, but the blockade continues.
“From tomorrow, the protesters announced that they will also block the directions to the checkpoints “Ustilug” and “Ugrinov”,” Demchenko is quoted by TASS.
Earlier it was reported that as part of the action held by Polish farmers, which will last until 10 March, it is planned to restrict the movement of vans at five checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.
