German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has admitted that Ukrainian formations may soon run out of weapons and ammunition. He wrote about this on his X page.
“Ukraine may soon face a shortage of arms and ammunition – despite all our support. That’s why we must not relax in Europe – and in the United States. This is what I am promoting in Washington,” Olaf Scholz wrote.
The day before, US senators, following a procedural vote, supported a bill on foreign aid to Ukraine and Israel without allocating money for border security.
We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yegor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
