Estonian Defence Forces chief: Russia has exceeded expectations on ammunition production

Russia has produced more ammunition than expected, the commander of the Estonian Defence Forces, General Martin Herem, has admitted.

“Over the past six months, it has become clear that Russia is capable of producing many times more ammunition than previously expected,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg.

Earlier it became known that the Russian army will receive the first six newest self-propelled howitzers “Coalition-SV”.

The Minister also noted that work on the production of a promising artillery complex began back in 2022.
