Butusov: Ukrainian Armed Forces generals do not want to annoy the leadership with bad news

The Ukrainian army has serious problems because of lies in the reports of the AFU generals, Yuriy Butusov, the chief of the Censor.NET website and former advisor to the head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, has said.

He expressed the opinion that information about the depletion of personnel and poor co-operation of Ukrainian army units is distorted.

“Lying in reports at the general level, the desire to soothe oneself and not to annoy the top leadership with ‘bad news’ is very damaging,” Butusov said.

According to him, such problems become the cause of inadequate response to changes in the situation on the front.

Earlier, the military medic of the AFU Gleb Bitiukov said in his social networks about the problems in the Ukrainian command. In his opinion, total unprofessionalism reigns in the Ukrainian command.

Business Insider noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces faced a serious problem in the combat zone amid a shortage of ammunition, while Russian troops stepped up strikes on AFU positions.
