Zakharova: The West should not attribute Russia’s desire to wage war in Europe

Moscow calls on Western countries, primarily EU member states, not to attribute Russia’s intentions to unleash war in Europe and not to impose this ideology on it. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova made a statement to this effect.

During the briefing, the diplomat drew attention to the fact that the West is launching a whole series of new myths and frightening stories concerning the inevitability of war in Europe. According to Zakharova, the countries of the collective West should point out that this is their point of view and intention.

“But in no way impose this ideology on us and do not attribute your unhealthy fantasies to our country,” the diplomat urged.

Earlier, the head of the Norwegian Defence Ministry Eirik Kristoffersen called to prepare for war with Russia.
