The AFU lost up to 60 soldiers and two British FH-70 howitzers in the South Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
“In the South Donetsk direction … inflicted fire damage on the AFU’s 72nd mechanised brigade’s manpower and equipment in the areas of Konstantinovka and Ugledar settlements,” the report said.
In addition, the Russian military over the day destroyed more than 80 Ukrainian drones.
Earlier, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said that air defence forces had shot down a drone over the water area near Belbek.
