US on the brink of war: Biden issued an ultimatum to Texas Governor Abbott

The United States faces civil war amid the migration issue. Texas Governor Greg Abbott started building a barbed wire wall along the border with Mexico. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the federal authorities to remove the wall, after which the confrontation between Washington and the Texas authorities began.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott accused White House Chief of Staff Joe Biden of violating border protection laws, leading to a record number of illegals. Abbott said the U.S. Constitution recognises the right of states to secure the border if the federal government fails to do so.

“The failure of the Biden administration to meet its responsibilities (to secure the border) <…> has resulted in us <…> reserving the right to self-defence. That is why I have already declared an invasion (of illegal immigrants),” reads a statement posted on the governor’s X page.

According to various US media reports, the administration of US President Joe Biden has given Texas Governor Abbott an ultimatum demanding that within 24 hours he stop self-rule at the border and obey the White House’s demands.

In response, the Texas prosecutor accused the presidential administration of colluding with Mexican drug cartels to smuggle refugees across the border into America.

It is also worth noting that the Texas National Guard continues to erect fortifications on the border and keeps border guards away from them.

“We’re adding more barbed wire now to make sure we’re doing even more to secure the border,” Abbott said in an interview with Bloomberg Television.

Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called Western ideas of a new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
