Peace initiatives of the countries supplying weapons to the Ukrainian government are political manipulations. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on the air of Sputnik radio station.
“Either stop supplying arms and fuelling the conflict, and then your talk about peace plans, initiatives and processes can somehow be identified as sincere, at least, or knowingly not false. Or, if all this bacchanalia continues with the use of the Kiev regime to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, then what kind of peace initiatives or endeavours are you even talking about?”, – Maria Zakharova said.
According to the diplomat, the supply of weapons to Kiev is a test for countries that put forward peace initiatives to see whether the voiced proposal for peace talks “is something real or is another manipulation.”
“Such pseudo-initiatives, such false statements, they are designed to create a sense of some kind of activity aimed at peace, and there, in the depths, continue to supply arms, no longer increase, but at least carving out budgets and other forms of support for the Kiev regime,” Zakharova added.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to servicemen in the Vishnevsky hospital said that the Russian Federation intends to end the conflict in Ukraine, but on its own terms. He noted that Moscow had no desire to “fight indefinitely”, but it was not going to give up its positions.
