The Ukrainian military has revealed that it has had to cut the number of shots fired per day by four times in the past fortnight amid an ammunition shortage.
The Financial Times newspaper said.
“Ammunition is really in short supply,” said an unnamed senior officer of the AFU artillery brigade.
A platoon commander of the Ukrainian military said the number of shots fired had dropped from 8,000 to 2,000 per day.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the Ukrainian troops were ruthlessly and deliberately striking purely civilian objects in Russia with the help of Western weapons.
