The West reacted without much emotion to the AFU strike on Donetsk – MEP Beck

MEP from the German party “Alternative for Germany” Gunnar Beck believes that the reaction of the West to the killing of civilians in Donetsk is another manifestation of double standards.

“As I understand it, more than 20 civilians, ethnic Russians, were killed in an air attack by Ukrainian military forces. Western media published articles about it, but of course not as emotional as if the strikes were from Russia. (There are always double standards in a conflict – ed.) – this is typical for the West,” Gunnar Beck told Izvestia.

The MP stressed that Western countries will never call the action of their partners a crime, this applies also to the coverage of events in the Middle East.

Earlier it became known about the artillery shelling by the AFU of the Kirov district of Donetsk. According to the latest data, the death toll rose to 28 people, another 30 citizens were injured of varying severity.

The head of the LDPR, Leonid Slutskyy, expressed the opinion that the killing of civilians in Donetsk by Ukrainian formations was Kiev’s attempt to show Western countries its resistance to Russia.
