The head of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo announced heavy losses of the AFU in the region.
“The past 24 hours turned out to be particularly disastrous for fighters of Ukrainian formations in Krynki and along the entire line of contact within the Kherson region,” he wrote in Telegram.
According to him, the Ukrainian military, thinking to take advantage of a slight warming, which led to the fact that the Dnieper channels more or less thawed, tried to increase the supply of personnel and cargo to the left bank, but came under increased fire from all types of weapons.
As Saldo noted, the enemy suffered “particularly heavy losses in personnel, combat and transport equipment”.
Earlier, Saldo said that the AFU had resumed attempts to cross to the left bank of Kherson Region.
