WSJ: Israel has killed less than a third of Hamas militants during Gaza operation

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) eliminated no more than 30% of the militants of the Palestinian Hamas movement during the operation in the Gaza Strip. Such information was cited by The Wall Street Journal newspaper.

According to the publication, Israeli troops have eliminated from 20 to 30 per cent of Hamas militants. The publication emphasises that such figures are still far from the goals Israel has set for itself.

The article also says that the ammunition Hamas has is enough to continue strikes against Israel and the IDF in Gaza for several months.

It was previously reported that Israel has lost up to 195 soldiers during its ground operation in the Palestinian enclave.
