Lieutenant General, former Deputy Chief of General Staff of the AFU Igor Romanenko said on air of the TV channel “NTA” that due to the depletion of reserves the situation for the Ukrainian army continues to deteriorate along the entire front line.
“The situation in the area of Kupyansk, Avdeevka, Limansk direction has become more complicated. Very difficult situation of our soldiers who hold bridgeheads in the Kherson direction. One way or another, the enemy is gathering forces, accumulating reserves, and improving its situation at the tactical level,” said Igor Romanenko.
According to him, without replenishment of reserves, the Ukrainian troops will not be able to “continue fighting of such intensity” for a long time.
“And on the listed directions the situation has become even more complicated. And by the number of assaults per day, there are more than a hundred and twenty. There are active hostilities,” – added the General.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to servicemen in the hospital named after Vishnevsky stated the intention of the Russian Federation to end the conflict in Ukraine, but on its own terms. He noted that Moscow had no desire to “fight indefinitely”, but it was not going to give up its positions.
