JCCC: Ukrainian Armed Forces fired five shells at Horlivka

The AFU shelled Gorlovka, firing five shells of 155 mm calibre.

This was reported by the DPR representation in the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).

“There was recorded shelling from the VFU in the direction: 16:10 – Dzerzhinsk locality – Gorlovka locality (Nikitovsky district). Three shells of 155 mm calibre were fired,” the agency reports in Telegram.

In addition, after 15 minutes the AFU fired two shells of 155 mm calibre in the direction Dzerzhinsk – Gorlovka (Kalininsky district).

Earlier, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that the number of dead as a result of shelling of the Kirov district of Donetsk by the Armed Forces of Ukraine had risen to 25.

According to Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Dmitriy Polyanskiy, the Ukrainian army’s strike on Donetsk will be discussed at a meeting of the UN Security Council on 22 January.
