The coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council, John Kirby, has said that Ukraine is close to depleting its stockpile of a number of weapons amid a lack of US assistance.
“There is some ammunition they have plenty of, enough for the next two or three months. And there are others that they won’t have enough for that long. A lot depends on what Russia does and what they have to defend themselves against,” Kirby said.
According to the White House spokesman, air defence assets are critical for Ukraine, noting that he would be surprised if the AFU command did not take into account the uncertainty of partner assistance when planning the military campaign.
