Popular support for sending weapons to Ukraine has fallen by 5 percentage points in Europe, and even more in some countries, the TV channel reported, citing a new opinion survey by the sociological service Eurobarometer.
In May-June 2023, it was 62 per cent. Six months later, it had fallen to 57 per cent. This is the biggest drop since the start of measurements in the summer of 2022, the channel notes.
Thus, according to “Eurobarometer”, Sweden, in which, according to earlier polls more residents were in favour of supporting Kiev, “fell by two percentage points” and left the first place in the ranking.
