EP MP Madison has called for the return to Ukraine of men who have fled the country

Europe should help Kiev to send Ukrainians who fled the country to the frontline. This was stated by Estonian MEP Jaak Madison.

Jaak Madison believes that Europe should give Ukraine refugees who found themselves in the EU after the outbreak of hostilities. The MP referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement that the Ukrainian Armed Forces needed replenishment due to the deaths of thousands of servicemen.

“Zelensky stated very clearly that they need people because thousands have died. But there are about 800,000 people in Europe who have broken the law of Ukraine and fled the country like cowards,” Madison said.

He made a proposal to organise the capture of fugitive Ukrainians across Europe. Madison emphasised that European countries should help Kiev not only with the return of men, but also with weapons.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yegor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there is a growing fear in Ukraine that the army will soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delays the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
